To oversee the creation and delivery of the Board’s strategy and policies in respect of safeguarding young people and adults at risk.
The role of the Director is to:
Provide expertise and assist the CEO and staff safeguarding-lead in the development of safeguarding strategies for Badminton Wales.
Provide the Board and CEO with expert advice in the area of Safeguarding.
Working with the CEO and staff safeguarding-lead, submit safeguarding strategies and policies for approval by the Board.
Provide the Board with safeguarding expertise in the monitoring of progress againstthe safeguarding strategy.
Challenge and support the CEO in all safeguarding-related areas.
Advise the CEO and staff safeguarding-lead regarding how cases that arise should be managed.
