About The Service


An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing and Communities Early Help service to recruit an Accredited Centre Development Officer (ACDO)


You will be part of an established Workforce Development and Accredited Centre team who have proven experience in delivering and supporting training programmes aimed at a range of professionals and families our teams work with

About the job


The post is required to sustain accredited centre status with our awarding bodies (Agored Cymru and City & Guilds) and work with teams across the Early Help programme


The post holder will be required to manage and continue to develop the processes and practices of an established Accredited Centre to ensure compliance, sustainability, and positive outcomes for all learners


You will work alongside another ACDO to maintain the smooth running of the centre, providing continuous professional development for assessors through Standardisation events, development meetings and training. You will deliver training or provide quality assurance for qualifications ranging from Entry 3 short courses to Level 3 12 credit courses.


What We Are Looking For From You


Applicants must hold assessor and IQA qualifications at Level 3 and 4. Knowledge and experience of ensuring compliance with the Awarding Body’s quality assurance processes would be beneficial. You must be able to use your initiative, work independently and make decisions to ensure that specific timescales are met.
