About the Role

• You will be working for a market-leading design company with a strong focus on the water industry.


• The consultancy works with external clients, and you will apply your skills to the external clients projects.


• The role is primarily focused on design but will also involve engineering elements.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Design Experience: Specifically within the water industry.


• Chartered Engineer Qualification (or at least 20 years' experience in the field).


• Own Software Licenses for relevant tools.


• CDM Requirements Knowledge.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AMTECH, or similar Pro Design software.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.


• Functional Safety Knowledge.


• Familiarity with current standards and codes of practice, including ATEX, CDM, BS 7671, etc.


• Knowledge of Thames Water F15 and F24 Asset Standards.

Role Duties

• Produce and supervise the production of detailed EICA specifications.


• Selection and specification of general LV electrical items, equipment, and instrumentation.


• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (preferred).


• Implement both cold and hot commissioning activities.

Qualifications / Experience

• HNC / HND in an EICA Engineering Discipline.


• Experience in carrying out multi-discipline engineering projects.


• Extensive experience in EICA Engineering and Design.
