This firm are seeking a newly qualified solicitor or legal executive to join the Dispute Resolution Team in Bristol. This role will complement the firm's established DR team, which operates across both our Bristol and Bath offices.

The ideal candidate will have commercial dispute resolution experience, either from their training

contract or a previous paralegal role at a national or regional firm. You should be passionate about building a career in commercial disputes and have experience handling or assisting with cases involving professional negligence, commercial contracts, warranty disputes, and corporate acquisition-related disputes.

As part of this supportive and close-knit team, you'll work on complex, high-value cases under the guidance of Simon Price (head of the Bristol and Bath team) and Dan Dodman (London). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload, taking instructions from clients, and ensuring client expectations are met. You'll work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop your client relationship skills, manage time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing, and actively contribute to the team’s goals. There will also be opportunities to guide junior fee earners and assist with their learning.

The firm is looking for someone with strong team-player qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative attitude. Previous experience in commercial dispute resolution at a regional or national firm is essential.
