About The Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team in our Cardiff office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive valuation services across a diverse range of properties. This position demands a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects while ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed property valuations for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, litigation, and development proposals.
Assist clients in navigating complex property transactions and advise on strategic asset management.
Engage in market research and analysis to stay current with regional property trends and influence client advisory with accurate data.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders within the South West Wales property market.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports, ensuring they meet the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.
Manage and mentor junior surveyors, supporting their professional development and maintaining team cohesion.
About You
MRICS qualified
Commercially aware
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work on own initiative whilst being an excellent team player
Proven IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
Well organized, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an eye for detail, a commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships.
Proactive, flexible and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service.
Full driving licence

Working hours
Our hybrid working policy outlines staff to be in the office for 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home. In our London offices, our desk booking app allows you to plan ahead, and book your desk up to 2 weeks ahead. We also offer great flexibility around our core hours, which are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. You can choose to start and end your day around these hours, provided you still do your 7.25 hours per day (e.g. 8.00 am – 4.30pm, 10.00 am – 6.30 pm). There is no requirement for this to be the same each day, but you are required to keep your manager informed. This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
