Role: IT Engineer
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £45,000 p/annum

CPS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation in hiring an IT Engineer to join an established team responsible for maintaining the organisation's infrastructure and driving its digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions while managing, monitoring, and maintaining both on-premise and cloud platforms.


2. Troubleshoot incidents, determine root causes, apply fixes, document issues, and implement preventive measures.


3. Lead server projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.


4. Communicate IT initiatives, priorities, and progress to key stakeholders, fostering collaboration between IT and other business units.


5. Proven experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on cloud platforms.


6. Knowledge of NAS and SAN storage technologies.


7. Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.


8. Strong understanding of Microsoft Server Technology and Hyper-V clustering.


9. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
