We are looking for aGerman speaking Key Account Manager to manage Zalando/About Youand to drive growth, enhance strategic partnerships, and champion the digital commerce agenda across key these online / pure player accounts.


This role is pivotal in managing and expanding our footprint in the digital retail landscape by increasing market share, optimizing account performance, and building strong, lasting relationshipsinternally and externally.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Digital Key Account Manager



  • Support revenue delivery and relationship management for online and pure player accounts, contributing to category growth and market share expansion.

  • Assist in developing go-to-market plans and account strategies alongside the Online Partners Director.

  • Act as a point of contact and representative for assigned accounts across internal functions, supporting strong cross-functional collaboration.

  • Monitor key metrics and competitive activity, providing insights and supporting commercial recommendations.

  • Contribute to business planning efforts and help ensure compliance with trade agreements and account terms.

  • Act as the primary ambassador for assigned accounts, representing them internally across all functions and managing key account interfaces.

  • Use relevant commercial tools to drive mutual profitability, aligning joint business plans with account partners.

  • Ensure full compliance with commercial agreements and partner expectations.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Proven experience in digital or online key account management, ideally at a senior level or progressing toward it.

  • Solid track record of managing pure player and e-commerce platforms in a commercial capacity.

  • Deep industry understanding of the apparel, footwear, and accessories landscape.

  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of local markets, consumer behaviour, and account-specific needs.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong drive to meet and exceed sales objectives and KPIs.

  • Confident communicator and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
