Metropolitan are looking for a Heat Operations Project Manager who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

As the Heat Operations Project Manager your key responsibilities are

• Working collaboratively with construction teams and contractors to ensure assets are delivered in line with Metropolitan’s technical specifications.
• Creating and managing version-controlled project documentation, including maintaining project folders, document registries, and ensuring compliant sharing practices aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Overseeing project budgets, including spend tracking, purchase order processing, and invoice management.
• Developing and embedding operational and business processes, and training internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence.
• Leading Metropolitan’s internal programme board, overseeing all operational change projects – capturing updates, tracking progress and spend, and reporting on delivery against agreed timelines and budgets.
  
  

About You

• Experience in a relevant field (engineering, construction, project management, or similar).
• Proven experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, ideally within construction, utilities, energy, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors and suppliers.
• Familiar with managing project budgets, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
