SOCIAL WORKER - Kinship Assessment Team - #1670180

An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Social Worker to join the Kinship Assessment Team. This is an exciting time to join Cardiff, fostering service.

To successful candidate will undertake a range of assessments, including kinship fostering assessments, sibling assessments, Special Guardianship assessments, and family dynamic assessments to provide analysis in order to inform placement planning and to assist children and families to resolve major difficulties in their lives, and to enhance their independence and coping skills.

A degree in Social Work (or equivalent) is essential for this role and you must be a Registered Social Worker, as well as excellent skills in assessment and the ability to write concise records and reports.

You will be a good team player, have excellent communication and organisation skills and have IT skills.

This post has a requirement for registration with Social Care Wales.
