Senior Product Manager – Fintech (API & Customer-Facing Products)

My client is an established fintech company revolutionising the way businesses and consumers engage with financial services. They're looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong API experience to join our dynamic team and take ownership of our customer-facing applications (web and mobile) and integrations. As they scale, we are looking for someone with a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and a proven ability to lead on project and be part of an established product team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap:

Able to take the lead on the development and execution of product strategies for our customer-facing fintech solutions (apps and web platforms). Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain the product roadmap, balancing customer needs with business goals.

• API Development & Integration:


• Work closely with engineering teams to define and manage the lifecycle of APIs used by both internal and external parties. Ensure API functionality, integration, and optimization meet product requirements, scale needs, and security standards.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration:


• Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers, engineers, business analysts, and marketing teams to ensure the product aligns with user needs and business objectives. Participate in design reviews, ensuring that user experience is at the forefront of product development.


• Customer-Facing Product Management:


• Lead the development and improvement of our customer-facing app (mobile and web). Own the product lifecycle from ideation to release, continuously iterating based on user feedback, analytics, and market trends.


• Data-Driven Decision Making:


• Leverage data analytics and user insights to make informed decisions about features, product enhancements, and prioritization. Track and measure product success metrics to ensure products deliver on goals.


• Stakeholder Engagement:


• Communicate product vision, goals, and timelines to both internal stakeholders and customers. Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations and provide regular updates to leadership.


• API & System Knowledge:


• Leverage a deep understanding of APIs and integrations to ensure seamless functionality and user experience across different touchpoints of the fintech product ecosystem.

Key Requirements:

• 
  Experience:At least 2 years of product management experience in a Senior role, with a focus on fintech, API-driven products, or customer-facing applications (web and mobile).


• Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch.


• Strong experience working with API integrations, API product development, and external API vendors.


• 
  Skills & Expertise:Strong understanding of API design, development, and integration processes.


• Solid experience collaborating with UX/UI teams to build intuitive, user-centric designs.


• Expertise in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.


• 
  Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• 
  Must be experienced within the fintech space


• 
  Desirable:Previous experience working with or in the fintech space.


• Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision) and working closely with UX/UI designers to create exceptional user experiences.


• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

This role offers hybrid working with 3 day on-site in London with a 2 stage interview process.
