With 1.1 million members and over 300 corporate clients (including the likes of Amazon, Google and HSBC to name just a few), this rapidly growing data and technology platform is a UK leader in their field.

As the company's first dedicated Data hire, working directly under the CTO, you'll establish the foundation for their data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the data landscape from the ground up, working closely with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This pivotal role sits somewhere between Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering and will involve:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data models and pipelines to ensure clean, well-structured data for analytics and reporting


• Implementing and maintaining ELT/ETL processes using tools like DBT and Fivetran
  


• Owning and optimising data warehousing (Snowflake) and ensuring efficient data management


• Collaborating with software engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality, accessible datasets


• Establishing best practices for data governance, quality, documentation and version control


• Identifying opportunities to improve data accessibility and driving automation in data workflows

Must have requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and DBT


• At least intermediate proficiency in Python and Git


• Experience designing, building and maintaining data pipelines


• Familiarity with date warehousing architecture and implementation


• Visualisation experience, ideally with Tableau

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Fivetran and Snowflake


• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS)


• Experience with Terraform and Docker
