Interim FP&A Consultant – Challenger Bank

Up to £700/day + VAT | Fully Remote | Private Equity-Backed Digital Bank

We are working with a fast-growing, digitally transforming, PE-backed challenger bank that requires an experienced Interim FP&A Consultant to lead a front-to-back transformation of its financial planning and analysis capability.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will lead the redesign and implementation of a next-gen FP&A function. The mandate includes:

• A full review and rebuild of existing FP&A processes and outputs


• Designing and implementing best-in-class, data-driven planning and forecasting tools


• Evaluating and implementing a new FP&A system


• Embedding a commercially-focused approach to financial decision-making


• Supporting strategic product and market expansion initiatives

You’ll also play a hands-on role in building models, while coaching and scaling a lean, agile finance team.

Candidate Profile

• Deep FP&A experience within challenger banking (essential)


• Strong grasp of banking revenue models and key commercial levers


• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically — from board-level thinking to detailed financial modelling


• Proven track record of finance transformation, including system selection and implementation
