What You Will Do


As a Fire Suppression Service Engineer, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and remedial works on Fire Detection and Gas Extinguisher Fire Suppression Systems at a static site in Cardiff, with a primary focus on gas extinguisher systems customers.


Your responsibilities will include the service and maintenance of:



  • Fire Alarms

  • Fire Valves

  • Fire Doors

  • Portable Fire Extinguishers

  • Fire Blankets

  • Hose Reels

  • Other fire safety equipment

How You Will Do It



  • Perform service and maintenance on Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets, and Hose Reels

  • Ensure compliance with BS5306:3, BS5306:9, and BS5306:8 standards

  • Be available for the on-call rota when required

  • Conduct fault-finding, inspections, and repairs

  • Follow quality procedures and documentation

  • Support lead engineers in completing multi-discipline works

  • Ability to use hand tools effectively

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
