TAY Recruitment are recruiting a Trade Counter Assistant to join their clients team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have experience as working as a Trade Counter Assistant and a strong ability to manage time effectively. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting various trade activities, engaging with customers, and assisting in the sales process. This role requires a proactive individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment



Duties



* Assist in the daily operations of trade activities, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency



* Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about products and services



* Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales



* Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette



* Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions



* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and improve service delivery



Requirements



* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively



* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively



* Experience in sales or customer service is an advantage, particularly in upselling products



* Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately



* Will be required to work every other weekend



* Experience of working within a trade counter position is required
