We are currently seeking a diligent Financial Analyst to join our clients Accounting & Finance Department. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional numerical skills, and a deep understanding of financial data interpretation within the fast-paced manufacturer industry.

Description

  • Interpreting financial data and producing clear, concise reports.
  • Contributing to budget planning and implementation within the Accounting & Finance Department.
  • Assisting with the creation of financial forecasts and models.
  • Supporting the management team with insightful financial data analysis
  • Supporting the Operations Finance Manager in the preparation of the weekly P&L report and monthly management accounts
  • Reporting of daily Operational Finance KPIs, highlighting key drivers of material and labour variances and helping to identify performance trends
  • Accurate posting of month end journals - including site accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting the Operations Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Daily review and resolution of finance system posting errors - escalating issues as appropriate
  • Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for stock
  • Assisting with completion of external and internal audit tasks

Profile

A Successful Financial Analyst Should Have

  • An academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (part-qualified).
  • Proficiency in financial software tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to present financial information in a clear and understandable way.
  • A deep understanding of financial regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry.

Job Offer

  • An estimated daily pay rate of approximately £18.80 GBP to £20.56 GBP.
  • A temporary contract with the potential for extension.
