What You’ll Be Doing

As Resourcing Manager at Cartrefi Cymru, you’ll take ownership for leading the organisation’s approach to resourcing. You’ll be working strategically in line with our people strategy to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.

This is a new role where you'll have the opportunity to develop and deliver proactive resourcing initiatives aligned to our strategic goals, while shaping the full candidate experience—from attraction and selection, to onboarding and future colleague development opportunities.

You’ll oversee a team of Resourcing Advisors and work closely with managers, senior leaders, and external partners to promote Cartrefi as an employer of choice across Wales.

The role calls for a resourcing professional who is experienced in the full colleague life cycle, has an in-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, a strong understanding of employment legislation, and experience delivering results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll need to be confident managing data, developing KPIs, and using systems (like applicant tracking tools) to improve resourcing processes and inform decision-making.

Creative thinking, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead company-wide projects and change initiatives are all essential. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who lives and breathes Cartrefi’s values—honesty, trust, kindness, respect, and wellbeing—and who brings these into every stage of the resourcing journey.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of leading an internal resourcing department
  • The proven ability to think strategically and deliver resourcing projects that have a positive business impact
  • Strong knowledge of all areas of resourcing and recruitment best practice
  • Confidence in advising managers and stakeholders on all aspects of resourcing to meet current and future requirements
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and how it impacts recruitment practices
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-volume resourcing environment
  • Experience creating and managing effective resourcing campaigns
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience in HR and resourcing

It’s not just what you do, it’s how you do it — we’re looking for someone who can believe in and demonstrate our values every day.

Our Rewards

  • 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service and with the option to buy and sell leave
  • A benevolent Fund, confidential financial wellbeing resource available to our colleagues

  • Auto enrolment into a pension scheme
  • Access to a benefits platform and shopping discounts
