Senior Learning Technologist

Day rate contract, full-time

19th May - 1st of August (with the potential of an extension)

Remote (must be UK based)

Instinct is working with a prestigious professional institute who provide exceptional education and training qualifications to professionals working within their chosen field of specialism. Aside from this, they work to advocate for improved standards, fund necessary research innovations, and offer a support network for those looking to expand their networks. They are currently undergoing a large institutional-wide systems change whereby they are switching to a new CRM (Dynamics 365). As a result, they are looking for an experienced Senior Learning Technologist to join the team and manage this move.

The organisation is currently operating with a rudimentary Moodle setup, so this will be a major transition introducing the new CRM (Dynamics 365) which will significantly impact how Moodle is used and configured. The new CRM will merge multiple systems and enable more advanced Moodle integration, while Moodle will be reconfigured to align with the new CRM’s automation capabilities. All changes will need to be made in a safe and controlled way, as automation will drive much of the interaction between systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The current Moodle resource is a single-person team managing the platform. The post holder will work closely with the Product Development team to:

  • Create and manage Moodle courses.

  • Support UAT testing for the CRM.

  • Contribute to the CRM project at a higher systems-level, with an understanding of interdependencies and data flows.

  • Liaise with developers on server-side and back-end Moodle support.

  • Titus is being used for external Moodle support.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven Moodle site administration experience – not strategic, but hands-on.

  • CRM/LMS integration experience, preferably with Dynamics 365, Telefónica, or similar systems.

  • Strong UAT, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of GDPR, especially relating to educational data.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-know professional education body and be a key part of a strategic transformation project with long-term impact.
