Job Description
Laundry Attendant - Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba
The Laundry Attendant performs all relevant activities in the field of laundry, maintaining guest and employee linens, ensuring the cleanliness of machines and other assigned areas. The role involves providing efficient, personalized, courteous, and punctual service, working with a team to ensure guest satisfaction. All activities should be carried out with regard to operational policies and standards, both international and domestic.
He/she shall maintain good relations with supervisors, department heads, local authorities, and other key persons.
Scope
Follow all instructions of the supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold high service standards.
General Responsibilities
- Perform all reasonable requests from management within your capabilities.
- Keep the laundry area clean and dust equipment at the end of each shift.
- Maintain organized linen and equipment storage.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the uniform properly.
- Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
- Perform duties as assigned and promote good employee relations.
People Management
- Maintain a climate of trust and teamwork throughout the operation.
Leadership
- Demonstrate discipline, earn respect, and inspire teamwork.
- Lead by example.
Guest Satisfaction
- Follow up on guest complaints.
- Listen to guest suggestions and report them to the laundry manager.
Fire, Life, Health, and Security
- Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
