HCB Widdows Mason is seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This role is essential for ensuring that our reception area operates smoothly and efficiently while providing a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors alike.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the reception area, ensuring a high level of service is delivered at all times.
- Managing and training reception staff, fostering a positive teamwork culture.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Coordinating appointment scheduling and managing the calendars of key staff members.
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy, organized, and well-presented.
- Implementing and maintaining effective procedures to streamline operations.
- Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately, as well as handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of events and meetings as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a reception or administrative environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and reception management systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
