The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in electrical infrastructure and renewable energy. You will be a proactive leader with excellent organisational skills, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the complete lifecycle of solar, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with business goals
Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee smooth project execution
Review technical designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility
Monitor project milestones, manage risks, and address site challenges effectively
Supervise on-site operations, manage resources, and uphold health and safety compliance
Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks
Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, fostering strong communication and accountability
Conduct site audits to verify adherence to project designs and specifications
Prepare comprehensive project reports and performance analyses for stakeholders
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes
Requirements
Level 3 NVQ Diploma or City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent qualification)
Higher education qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
Proven track record in managing renewable energy or electrical projects
Solid understanding of solar PV, battery systems, EV charging infrastructure, and maintenance protocols
Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 or equivalent)
Desirable qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS Card, ECS Gold Card
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or similar (preferred but not essential)
Exceptional organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
