Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible service. The Service currently has a temporary vacancy for a Housing Trainee within the Housing Finance Team. The vacancy is temporary for 18 months.
About the job
The main function of the post is to work alongside the team of Finance Officers responsible for recovering rent arrears for a specific area of the city, taking all appropriate recovery actions. The Housing Trainee role offers an opportunity to gain an overview of the service and to learn through practical experience, serving as a springboard for a career in housing. Full on-the-job training will be provided throughout the placement.

The position is temporary for 18 months from the start date of employment.
