Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Financial Reporting Oversight Senior Analyst to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of fund financial statements and share class distribution rate calculations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing and reviewing the production of fund financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborating with auditors and fund administrators to ensure regulatory standards are met
  • In time acting as the primary contact for annual audits, training and support will be provided to get you to this level
  • Resolving queries and driving continuous improvement
  • Overseeing and reviewing share class distribution rates, ensuring correct calculations and payments
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including fund administrators, auditors, and compliance teams
  • Reviewing the accuracy of fee accruals and payments
  • Participating in team meetings, providing status updates and escalating key issues

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as UCITS and AIFMD Regulations
  • Understanding of accounting standards including FRS102, IFRS, and Lux GAAP
  • Familiarity with investment funds, financial markets, and financial instruments
  • Experience with governance structures and regulatory oversight
  • Proficiency in net asset value calculations and share class distribution calculations
  • Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including fund administrators and auditors
  • Qualified accountant or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience within the financial services industry in auditing, fund administration, or asset management
