Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join us. You will work as part of the Compliance team to provide high quality compliance support to the Chief Compliance Office (CCO) and Head of Regulatory Engagement. You will be proactively facilitating engagement with asset management’s key regulators, identifying and conducting analysis on regulatory change and providing support to the CCO’s office. The ideal candidate will have an asset management background, strong written and verbal communication skills supplemented by good organisational skills, including an ability to prioritise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with internal and regulatory engagements (such as meeting planning, minutes, action tracking, internal briefings, mail-box management) and ensuring LGIM has a record of all regulatory contact and engagement
- Assisting with the analysis of emerging regulation, and its impact on LGIM
- Assisting the CCO by providing support as appropriate. This may include support on Compliance wide projects, production of high impact, insightful and concise management information, reports, presentations, and briefing notes
- Assisting with the review of compliance policies and procedures and participate as directed in the production of regular Compliance internal communication materials in order to support business awareness and understanding
- Personally maintaining a detailed knowledge of Group policies, compliance and conduct risk requirements, keeping abreast of changes and developments including those externally
- Playing an active part in the wider global Risk and Compliance team, supporting colleagues as required, in order to achieve the right outcomes for LGIM
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- A good standard of education is required
- Good analytical skills and broad industry awareness including of emerging regulation
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to work effectively, both individually and within a team
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure high quality delivery of regulatory updates
- Proactively develop effective and efficient methods and tools to manage accurate records
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues to promote the work of the Compliance team more generally
