Aged Debt Handler - #1713542
Admiral

Within our Financial Controls and Assistance function, we are seeking a detail-orientated and pro-active Aged Debt Handler to join our existing Aged Debt Team.
In this position, you will be responsible for recovering aged debt across a portfolio of historic files following the settlement of our client’s personal injury claims. You will manage a caseload of non-live cases, involving the review of longstanding outstanding office balances to determine their origin and devise an action plan to balance the ledger and close the file. While you will work independently, you will have the opportunity to engage with internal stakeholders as needed to establish the appropriate action plan for each file. Additionally, you will be expected to execute the action plan within a reasonable timeframe, aiming to balance the ledger and close the file as efficiently as possible.
Part of your responsibilities will include identifying files suitable for Enforcement and/or Costs Draftsman, and referring them to a designated Enforcement handler within the team or an external costs draftsman when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will ideally possess some experience in credit control and/or debt recovery, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail but this is not essential.
