Were recruiting on behalf of a leading UK firm of chartered surveyors seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join its growing Cardiff office.
This is a key appointment within a respected consultancy environment ideal for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or experienced surveyor on the path to chartership. Youll deliver high-quality professional and project services while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.
What Youll Be Doing:

• Leading technical delivery across refurbishment, asset improvement, and compliance-led projects
  


• Providing core professional services: contract administration (JCT), defect analysis, technical due diligence, building pathology, PPM and lifecycle assessments


• Supporting junior surveyors with APC preparation and day-to-day guidance


• Managing a portfolio of public and private sector clients particularly in healthcare, education, MOJ, defence and higher education
  


• Shaping team development and growth strategy alongside senior leadership

What Were Looking For:

• 
  MRICS qualified (or close to achieving)


• Minimum 3 years experience in a consultancy setting


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


• Passion for technical excellence, client service, and mentoring others


• Familiarity with government and institutional estates is a plus
