Responsibilities & Duties
- Delivering medication to wards
- Delivering and collection of laundry
- Removal/collection of rubbish from ward to compound.
- Delivery of mail
- Hospital porters also have the important job of moving vital, often extremely costly, equipment between the different departments of a hospital to distribute post, files and specimens.
