Position: SEO Manager
Location: Cardiff, CF10
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexi-time)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

About the Role: As the SEO Manager , you will be the strategic lead for all things SEO, driving organic growth and enhancing the online visibility of my client's digital platform. This role is not just about increasing traffic it's about driving meaningful leads and conversions that contribute to long-term business goals. You'll lead a small team, shape SEO strategy, and work closely with development, content, and marketing teams to execute effective SEO initiatives
Key Responsibilities: Lead the SEO strategy to drive traffic, leads, and conversion growth
Monitor and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly SEO performance metrics
Develop keyword strategies that target high-converting users
Optimise on-page and off-page elements to improve search engine rankings
Collaborate with developers to address technical SEO issues effectively
Execute digital PR and backlink strategies to enhance domain authority
Report insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership
Anticipate algorithm changes and adjust strategies proactively
Champion SEO best practices across all digital channels
Mentor and support a small team, fostering growth and development
Non-Negotiables: Advanced SEO expertise with proven experience leading successful campaigns
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Experience managing or mentoring a small SEO team
Proficiency with GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised, deadline-focused, and able to prioritise high-impact tasks
Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills (Great if you've got but they can help you learn once you've joined): Experience in lead generation or performance marketing environments
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to collaborate confidently with developers
Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO principles
Understanding of backlink management and digital PR strategies
Relevant certifications in SEO, analytics, or digital marketing
