Maths Teacher (Cardiff) - #1718310

We are currently recruiting for a committed and passionate Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.


• Use a range of strategies to support student progress and understanding.


• Monitor, assess, and report on student achievement.


• Create a positive learning environment that promotes progress and attainment.


• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school expectations.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department and across the wider school.


• Provide support and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Specialism in Mathematics.


• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.


• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.


• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities.


• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).


• Right to work in the UK.
