HCB Widdows Mason is looking for a proactive and organised Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in attracting and selecting top talent for our firm while supporting various recruitment initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job openings on various platforms and managing incoming applications.
- Screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring smooth communication throughout the process.
- Maintaining and updating the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate records are kept.
- Conducting reference checks and background verifications for prospective employees.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a positive experience.
- Assisting in the development of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives to enhance the recruitment process.
- Providing administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a recruitment or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interest in talent acquisition and HR processes.
