Business Analyst – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary:£55,000 pro rata & benefits
Hours: Full-time

We’re hiring an experienced Business Analyst to support a product-led team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role suits someone confident working with IT engineers day-to-day and experienced in detailed technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business and functional requirements.

Write user stories, epics, tasks, and clear acceptance criteria.

Create logical data models and map data flows.

Review technical documentation (e.g. API specs).

Develop and execute UAT plans, test scripts, and support end users.

Essential Skills

3–5 years' Business Analyst experience.

Strong Agile knowledge; confident writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience with data analysis, modelling, and documentation.

Tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Visio, Excel.

Excellent stakeholder communication.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with API documentation, cloud data tools, and integration workflows.

Experience in logical/physical data modelling tools (e.g. DataGrip).
