We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team of a flagship £50 million project in Cardiff. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a high-profile scheme from groundworks to handover, working with a top-tier contractor.

The Opportunity:

You’ll play a pivotal role in leading a fast-paced, multi-faceted construction site, overseeing all stages of the build – with a strong emphasis on civils, groundworks, steel frame, and pre-cast elements.

This role suits someone who enjoys being out on site, hands-on with day-to-day operations, and actively driving progress. You’ll be a natural communicator and leader, offering direction and support to both the internal delivery team and subcontractors.

What We're Looking For:

• Local or commutable candidates preferred – Cardiff-based or within a sensible travel distance

• A proven Site Manager with full lifecycle experience of major projects

• Bias toward civils, groundworks, and steel/pre-cast frame construction is advantageous

• A true team leader who communicates confidently at all levels

• Strong in record keeping, especially H&S, QA, daily diaries and compliance logs

• Proficient in developing and monitoring short-term programmes

• Comfortable in a high-paced site environment, with strong time management discipline

• Willingness to lead from the front – this is a site-based leadership role, not one from behind a desk

Essential Qualifications:

• SMSTS – Required

• SEATS – Required

• First Aid at Work – Required

• Black CSCS Card (or equivalent) – Required

• NVQ Level 6 – Preferable

• Asbestos Awareness – Preferable

• Temporary Works Coordinator – Preferable
