12 hours shifts (4 on/4 off shifts), 2 days 6am-6pm & 2 nights 6pm to 6am

£29,562 salary increase to £31,058 after 6 months based on demonstrated technical ability and successful completion of probation at 7 Steel UK

In your new role of a Quality Tester, you will inspect, analyse and interpret samples by visual inspection and microscopic examination. Working for the Quality Engineer you will develop an in-depth understanding of Finished Product Specifications. Experience in setting up, collecting and performing tensile testing machines is desirable but not essential

Coming from a manufacturing, quality or a lab background you will have experience of accurately recording data using SAP management systems. As a quality tester, you will know how to keep yourself motivated working independently for long periods of time, while keeping health and safety at the forefront of your mind

Youll be joining a recycling company we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. Were the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and once of the largest metal recyclers, too. Were passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway
