Accounts Assistant - #1726660

Robert Half are supporting a valued client based in Cardiff Gate who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support their finance team with day-to-day transactional duties, month-end processes, and system migration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAGE 200 and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processing.

Data Entry & Transactional Duties:

• Accurately process invoices, credit notes, and payments related to non-direct costs.




• Conduct regular supplier reconciliations to maintain up-to-date accounts.




• Manage and process credit card transactions and checks.




• Handle staff expense claims in accordance with company policy.




• Perform various balance sheet reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.

Month-End Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and posting of prepayments and accruals.




• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.




• Support the analysis of debtors and creditors to inform financial reporting.

System Migration Support:

• Assist the Finance Director in the migration from SAGE 200 to NetSuite.




• Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure a smooth transition.

• Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts role.




• Proficiency with SAGE 200 is essential.




• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.




• High attention to detail and accuracy.




• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet
