We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Consultant who is passionate about employee engagement. Reporting to the Director of Employee Engagement, this role will focus on our worldwide engagement initiatives to create a consistent and impactful employee experience and to deliver against our strategic priorities.

In this role, you will bring your enthusiasm and expertise to projects and initiatives that help to measure and drive action around engagement in our organization.

The role can be based from any of our UK offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office and home working.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and collaborate on engagement programs and projects aligned to our strategy and priorities such as recognition, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Create and maintain trusted working relationships across our global organization to identify and share programs and best practices that support and enhance the employee experience.
  • Lead our annual engagement survey and action planning cycle.
  • Manage our Exit Survey platform and ensure our HR team is equipped to facilitate conversations with leaders.
  • Create and deliver presentations and training on topics related to employee engagement.
  • Manage our Global Recognition programs and platform.
  • Facilitate and manage the creation, execution, and follow-up of contracts with external vendors.
  • Collaborate with teammates in creating effective communications to ensure messaging is aligned with our overall HR communications approach and talent brand.
  • Follow global external business and economic trends. Research and analyze external elements and best practices in employee engagement solutions; working with internal partners to apply to our business, as appropriate.

About You

To be considered for this role you will need to have a high-level of knowledge relating to employee engagement principles, and prior experience of delivering employee engagement surveys and action plans.

You will have strong facilitation skills and be able to lead meetings and consultations with colleagues at all levels within Stantec.

The role will require you to demonstrate your strengths around visual design and data presentation, as well as skills relating to data analysis, metrics and reporting.

Experience working in a large, complex, global organization is required, with experience working within engineering, consultancy, or similar professional services organisations preferred.

This Senior Consultant role sits within our Human Resources team and will require experience of HR policies and procedures, as well as an ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion and sound judgement.
