We are currently looking for dynamic, resourceful and proficient individuals to join our Risk P Practice as Collections Risk & Controls Manager.

We are seeking a Risk & Controls Manager to oversee and enhance compliance and risk management within our Collections environment. This role ensures all operations align with relevant regulatory standards and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability and risk awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of risk and control processes specific to the collections lifecycle.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and internal audits to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Collections team to embed robust risk management frameworks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to collections staff on compliance-related topics and procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and report on compliance risks; recommend and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on compliance performance to senior stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in risk and compliance management within a collections environment.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to collections (e.g., GDPR, PCI, Consumer Protection).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk or compliance management, with at least 3 years at a managerial level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and influence teams in compliance-related matters.
  • Experience in a similar role within the retail financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate compliance data and generate insights.
