Property Manager – Job Description

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Basic of £25k – £28k depending on experience + Comms OTE of £30k+

 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that requires a strong customer-first mindset, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage a designated property portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard
  


• Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors, resolving maintenance issues and tenant concerns promptly
  


• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate necessary repairs or improvements
  


• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including safety regulations and tenancy laws
  


• Manage tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and deposit returns in a timely and professional manner
  


• Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are updated consistently
  


• Work closely with lettings and accounts teams to streamline property operations
  

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar Property Management role is essential
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  


• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges
  


• Sound knowledge of property legislation and compliance
  


• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
  


• ARLA qualification desirable but not essential
