Join the Nelson Trust as a Front of House Receptionist/Administrator at our Cardiff Women’s Centre and play a vital role in supporting effective reporting.
We are looking for a friendly and efficient individual to be the welcoming face of our centre. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, managing the reception area, and providing comprehensive administrative support to our Women’s Services Team at Newport. Your duties will include handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining health and safety records, and managing client data. You will also liaise with external agencies and ensure accurate recording of client information. You are expected to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about supporting women’s services.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision.
You will be responsible for tracking and inputting referrals, maintaining client records, and assisting with data analysis and reporting. Additionally, you will provide support at morning meetings, ensure the reception area is tidy, and support special events.
Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) as it involves access to vulnerable adults and/or children and successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced level Disclosure & Barring Service Check.
