Assistant Site Manager - #2064562

A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a major flagship construction project in Cardiff. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a high-profile, technically challenging development that will become a landmark scheme within the region.

Working alongside an experienced senior management team, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the project from construction through to completion, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

• Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress against programme
• Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support quality control and snagging processes
• Liaise with site teams, consultants, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate site records and reports
• Help drive productivity and programme performance

• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor
• Experience as either an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of site operations, sequencing, and subcontractor management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures
• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
• Proactive attitude with the ambition to progress within a leading contractor environment
