Business Support Assistant - #2066682

We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join our Children’s Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or business support professional with previous Social Care or Social Work experience to join a supportive and rewarding service.

Role Details:

• £13.50 per hour
• 37 hours per week
• Hybrid working
• Initial 3-month contract with high chance of extension

Role Responsibilities:

• Supporting the fostering connected persons and special guardian assessment service
• Tracking and overseeing statutory checks
• Preparing assessment documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Developing information packs for foster and kinship carers
• Coordinating, booking and minuting meetings
• Attending meetings and occasional home visits where required
• Supporting the wider team with general business support duties

Requirements:

• Previous administration or business support experience
• Ideally experience within Social Care, Social Work or Children’s Services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Full UK driving licence is essential
