Are you an organised, detail‑focused individual who enjoys helping customers and working as part of a supportive team? We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join Cansford Laboratories and play a key role in delivering a high‑quality service to our customers.
This is an office‑based position within a laboratory environment. You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, providing clear, professional support by phone and email.

What we’re looking for
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer‑focused approach with a positive, professional attitude
- Highly organised, reliable and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable working with computer systems and accurate data entry
- Able to manage your own tasks while working successfully as part of a team
- Awareness of quality systems (ISO or similar) is helpful, but not essential
- Previous customer service or office experience is an advantage
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
Customer support:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a clear, professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, directing queries and escalating issues as required
- Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
Administration & systems:
- Update customer records accurately, including notes of all interactions
- Ensure all received samples are logged into the system promptly and correctly
- Attend meetings, training sessions and audits as required
- Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality at all times
What we offer
- Annual salary starting from £23,500, dependent on experience and capability
- 25 days’ annual leave
- 35‑hour working week (9:00am–5:00pm) on a rota basis
- A probationary period of up to six months
