Electrician – Commercial, Domestic & Industrial

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrician to join our growing team delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across commercial, domestic, and industrial environments.

This is a varied role offering a mix of installation, fault-finding, maintenance, and remedial works across a wide range of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our Projects Engineers, supervisors, and clients to deliver works safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

Job Type

* Full-time, permanent

* Average 40-hour working week

* Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical installations in commercial, domestic, and industrial settings

* Perform maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on electrical systems

* Complete testing, inspection, and certification works where qualified

* Install containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and basket

* Work from drawings, specifications, and technical instructions

* Ensure all works comply with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards

* Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and office staff

* Complete job sheets and relevant documentation accurately

* Support apprentices and junior electricians where required

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred

* Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) advantageous

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Experience

* Industrial installations and maintenance

* Domestic rewires and consumer unit upgrades

* EV charging installations

* Fire alarm or emergency lighting experience
