Whilst the environment is incredibly supportive and positive, standards are high, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, initiative and a genuine commitment to children's development and learning.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across all areas of the Early Years curriculum
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging activities and continuous provision
  • Supporting children's communication, language and social development
  • Working with individuals and small groups to develop key skills
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting school values
  • Supporting children with personal care where required
  • Observing and recording children's progress and achievements
  • Helping to maintain a safe, organised and stimulating learning environment
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have previous experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with suitable experience)
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Phase
  • Be patient, caring, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Be confident using their own initiative and adapting to the needs of the children
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards and supporting excellent outcomes for all learners
  • Have a genuine passion for helping young children thrive during their first years of education
The School Offers:
  • A welcoming and inclusive school community
  • Supportive leadership and experienced staff
  • Well-resourced Early Years provision
  • Excellent professional development opportunities
  • A positive and collaborative working environment
  • The opportunity to make a real difference to children's educational journeys

This role would suit a dedicated Teaching Assistant who loves working within Early Years and is looking to become part of a school where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
