Project Manager Contract (Data Loss Prevention) - Paying up to £425 Per Day, Outside IR35, Based in South Wales, Hybrid Working, To Start ASAP

Your new role

Opportunity for a Project Manager to lead a high impact Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programme using Microsoft Purview. Starting with email protection and scaling across mobile and end-user devices (iPads, endpoints), this role combines technical delivery with real business change-driving how data is protected and used across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of the DLP programme (scope, timelines, milestones)
• Roll out data classification, sensitivity labelling, and DLP policies across M365
• Lead a phased deployment (email first, expanding to mobile/end-user devices)
• Drive business change, adoption, and user engagement
• Partner with comms teams to deliver clear, impactful rollout messaging
• Engage stakeholders across Security, IT, and the wider business
• Ensure alignment with GDPR and data protection standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven PM delivery across data, security, or compliance programmes
• Strong hands-on DLP experience (ideally Microsoft Purview)
• Experience delivering phased or enterprise-wide rollouts
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Background in M365/cloud environments
• Solid governance and delivery discipline
