We are delighted to be supporting our long-standing and trusted client in their search for a talented and highly organised Business Support Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate-calibre candidate, ideally with a business-related degree and around 12 months' administration experience, to join a successful professional services organisation. Offering exposure across business support, HR, finance and operations, this role provides an excellent platform for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a professional and demanding environment.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and commercially aware, with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and confidence using Microsoft 365 applications. You will enjoy working across multiple business functions, supporting senior stakeholders, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
The Role
- Provide effective day-to-day administrative support across the business, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage general administration, correspondence, document preparation, and record maintenance.
- Assist with office coordination, including meeting scheduling, room bookings, office supplies, and internal communications.
- Support the Head of BD & Marketing, ensuring they remain informed of key activities, priorities, and deadlines.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, and follow-up actions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and wellbeing activities.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, trackers, and management information.
- Ensure business information is accurate, timely and professionally presented.
- Support HR administration, including onboarding, document preparation, and employee record management.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and business information.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including data entry, reconciliations and record keeping.
- Build effective working relationships across the business and support wider operational activities as required.
Person Specification
- Degree educated, ideally in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- Around 12 months' experience within an administrative, business support or office-based role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional, personable, and confident approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Initiative-taking, dependable, and able to use initiative.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Salary & benefits
