We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger professional available for an immediate start.

The role:

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process for vendor invoices
• Carry out invoice verification and matching against purchase orders and receipts
• Process payments in line with internal controls and handle expenses and reimbursements
• Post accruals, clear unmatched invoices and reconcile vendor statements
• Support month-end close activities relating to accounts payable

About you:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• Experience with ERP or finance systems is desirable
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
