Part-Time Legal Cashier

Our client is looking for an experienced part-time Legal Cashier to join its Business Support team. It is looking for someone who is willing to work 2 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Legal 500 and Lexcel-accredited law firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily banking procedures, receipts, payments and completions
• Process BACS, Faster Payments, telegraphic and international transfers
• Maintain accurate client and office account postings
• Process client-to-business transfers and month-end postings
• Bank cheques and cash, process bills and calculate interest where required
• Assist with reconciliations, purchase ledger, expense claims and other finance tasks
• Provide cashiering cover during holidays and absences
• Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs) and firm procedures

About You

• Minimum 3 years' legal cashiering experience
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Good bookkeeping, numerical and organisational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to work to deadlines
• Able to work Part-time
