Due to increasing demand across their client portfolio, the firm is expanding its Audit team and investing in the future of the service line. Their clients operate across a range of sectors and include both SMEs and larger, more complex businesses, creating an interesting and varied working environment for ambitious accounting professionals.
Description
- Manage and oversee audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant auditing and accounting standards.
- Review and finalise audit reports and financial statements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address any queries promptly.
- Identify and address areas for process improvement within audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Stay updated on changes in audit regulations and best practices.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- At least 2.5 years' experience of client facing audit experience
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Experience managing audit projects and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Job Offer
