Facilities Assistant - #2116563

Reed Recruitment are proud to be supporting a wonderful charity based in Cardiff in their search for a Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our mobile healthcare unit. This hands-on position is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, secure, and ready to provide an excellent service to patients and staff.

2 Days Per Week | 10-Hour Shifts

As a Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up the mobile unit at the start of the day, maintaining the site throughout the shift, and ensuring everything is left safe and secure at the end of the day.

What you'll be doing:

• Setting up the mobile unit each morning
• Installing handrails and access equipment
• Carrying out site safety checks and ensuring the area is secure
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment
• Undertaking general cleaning duties within and around the unit
• Supporting with basic maintenance and reporting any issues
• Assisting with the close-down and securing of the site at the end of the day
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

What you'll need:

• Enjoys practical, hands-on work
• Is reliable, punctual, and organised
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Has a proactive approach and can work independently
• Is physically capable of setting up equipment and carrying out manual tasks
• Has a positive and flexible attitude

Previous experience in facilities, cleaning, maintenance, caretaking, site support, or similar roles would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
