Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in accountancy?

I’m delighted to be working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Cardiff who are looking to welcome a Graduate Accounts Trainee to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is keen to build a long-term career within accountancy practice. You’ll receive excellent training, hands-on experience and full support towards your professional qualifications.

You will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of clients while developing your technical and commercial accountancy skills, including:

• Preparing statutory accounts

• Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns

• Preparing management accounts

• Supporting senior members of the team with client work

• Liaising with clients and building strong relationships

• Working with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks

• Developing your technical knowledge through professional study

• A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related subject

• Keen to build a career within accountancy practice

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Motivated, hardworking and eager to learn

• Previous accountancy practice experience is advantageous but not essential

• AAT or ACCA study is advantageous, but full training will be provided

• £25,000 – £27,000 salary
