Warehouse - Stores Operative - #2125063

Here at GXO we are looking for a Warehouse / Stores Operative to join the team working on the Virgin Media contract in Cardiff. You will be working Monday to Friday, between the hoursof 07:00-16:00 however, a degree of flexibility may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Ensure products are processed and handled correctly throughout the warehouse.
• Picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading and unloading of vehicles and processing returns
• Assigned administrative tasks
• MHE, manual handling along with carrying out assigned computer-based tasks using a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Liaising with customers and responding to queries and requests within a timely manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail with an ability to effectively interpret large amounts of data
• Good PC knowledge
• Previous knowledge of WMS is preferred but not essential
